COMMUNITY SPORT ADVISOR AKTIVASIAN (HOWICK) - SPORT AUCKLAND

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate and well- connected individual to join our Community Sport Team who will be responsible for coordinating our ActivAsian programme in Howick.
Our well-respected Community Sport Team is tasked with increasing community participation in sport, play and active recreation within our communities of activity. As part of the Community Sport Team, the Community Sport Advisor - ActivAsian role focuses on being well connected within our Asian community to educate providers of physical activity about the value and benefits of sport, and active recreation.
To be considered for this role you will possess:
- A strong understanding of NZ’s biculturism, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and our cultural diversity
- A passion, drive and affinity to work alongside our Asian community
- Qualifications in sport, events, marketing or business
- Experience delivering or coordinating community programmes that promote healthy active lifestyles
- A sound understanding of Sport Auckland’s role within the community.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office

PLAY SYSTEMS LEAD - SPORT AUCKLAND
